No, you can add a Zoom object while editing but zooming while capturing is not possible.

Hi there

Although Captivate doesn't offer this capability as part of the feature set, keep in mind that it simply records what you see on the screen. Sooooo, one possibility would be to acquire and install an application that would zoom the area(s) of interest, then use that in conjunction with Captivate to achieve the result.
