Naming a new paragraph style

When I create a new paragraph style, the name I give it does not take. It appears in the Style Sheet as "Style 1".

I right-clicked on the style and slected "Rename" and it still won't take.

Any ideas ?

Hi,

Few questions to clarify the situation:

1. Which version of RoboHelp you are using.

2. Are you trying to do a rename through CSS Editor or CSS Pod

3. After renaming, does it give any error or just the name is not changed.

It will be helpful to understand the issue if you may provide elaborate steps to reproduce the same.

I am in the Style Sheet editor from the Project Manager pod.

No error. Just does not take.

What happens when you click "Rename" and what is the name you are trying to assign? You are not allowed any spaces. Could this be the reason?

Peter I think it depends where you try and rename it. If you do it from the Styles and Formatting Pod it does. If you do it from the .CSS file styles it doesn't. Something to mention to Ankur when you see him
