1. Re: How to preview 'Exported to folder' Encore project as finalized DVD?
Stan Jones Mar 15, 2011 2:40 PM (in response to Igor Valentovitch)There were some recent threads on this. I do not believe there are any free bluray disk folder/image players. I forget the recommendations. I did not find anything in a search in the forum. I'm trying to decide which one to pick, and I'm sure someone will drop in and let us know what they are using.

Ann Bens Mar 15, 2011 2:55 PM (in response to Igor Valentovitch)I make an image (iso) and view it with Virtual Clone Drive and Power DVD.
You can do this either with DVD or BluRay.

Blue_Devil1 Mar 15, 2011 3:36 PM (in response to Ann Bens)I've always made folders SD or BluRay one layer, and then played them with PowerDVD (no need to convert them to .iso). I don't know if PowerDVD plays dual layer BluRay folders, but I think they have a trial, so you could check it out.

Ann Bens Mar 15, 2011 3:50 PM (in response to Blue_Devil1)If you make a folder can you navigate the menu?
With a iso you can navigate the menu.
You dont have to convert from folder to iso.
The image option lets you make an iso.
An iso is a digital disk op your hard drive.

In SD you can. I used to make iso's, then fell in love with folders. Not doing bluray yet, and wanting a software player to break the ice. Interested in the answer to that. -

Thank you
