Is there a way to encode a member's CC number when inserting it into a MySQL
database and then have another page be able to decode it for processing?

Interesting, but my problem the service is a membership (monthly / yearly).
I have a cfschedule that runs every day to process the reoccurring billing
for the customers.

I do not know how to create a reoccurring account automatically for my
merchant account (Card Services International).

Does anyone know a script that is easy to incorporate into a site to connect
CF to a merchant account?

Some gateways have membership or periodic billing capabilities. If you want more direct control (which that is how I'm interpretting your inquiry), then look for a gateway that offers what my company calls "tokenization". Other gateways might call it something else. I included two links in the thread referenced above describing the technology.

You can PM me if you would like more info on what we offer as I don't want to turn this into a SPAM thread. Hope this helps...

There are a number of CC processing companies that can do this, I don't have names off hand, but if you search you can find them. They will even give you CF code to do this.

But you REALLY REALLY Don't want to store the CC in your db. Even if you really really know what your doing it's still not a good idea, you open up yourself to a lot of risk.

Let the credit card gateway take the risk.
