Hello, can you tell me how I transfert my book from my adope digital Editions to my e-book Aluratek?

I'm going to assume that you've registered your Aluratek and updated its
software to the latest level from its mother site on the web. If you have,
your problem might be just a case of doing things in the 'right' sequence.
First, turn on and plug in your Aluratek and make sure that your computer
recognizes it. If you have a Windows machine, it will detect 'new hardware'
the first time you do this, and will show you a message box when Windows has
finished installing it. Your Aluratek will display a message that it's on
line also.
When your Aluratek is on line, open ADE. As it initializes, ADE looks for
ebook readers that it recognizes among the devices that are attached to the
computer. When it finds your Aluratek, it will show it in the left hand
panel of the Library View screen. You then can drag and drop your book to
your Aluratek. ADE will show you a progress panel as it copies your ebook
to the Aluratek.
Finally, you need to disconnect your Aluratek electronically, not
physically, from ADE by ejecting it. Right click on the word Aluratek in
the left hand panel, and then click on Eject. When finished, the word
Aluratek will disappear from the panel, and you can close ADE. After it
closes, you can disconnect your Aluratek from the computer, but don't turn
it off! The Aluratek needs to update its internal catalog with the new
ebook. It will tell you when that's done, and then you can turn the
Aluratek off, or go to its Home page and see the ebook in its library.
Then, you can start reading the book.
Hope this helps!

I am having pretty much this same problem. some of the sample files are DRM and some are not. The ones that are DRM give me an error that I do not have permission to copy here. The non DRM files work fine. Any ideas? This purchase is turning into a nightmare....

For background: each ePub document has permissions embedded into it. You
can see those when you use Library view in ADE, highlight the document and
then click on the arrow in the document's label. You'll get a drop-down
menu (Item Options) that includes a tab marked 'Item Info'. Clicking on
that will display the permissions for that document. If you're transferring
documents that are not ePub, then you don't have this feature.
