    Orange Screen

Hi, I get an orange screen when I view my video that was filmed on a droid X phone.  The file type is a 3GPP Audio/Video (.3gp).  The audio sounds fine but no video.  Any suggestions? Thanks, -AP

Premiere Elements works with a narrow range of traditional video -- mostly video from camcorders.

It will not likely work with video from that phone. Sorry.

You might be able to download a program to convert it to AVI or MPG first. Ask the manufacturer.

Try using a free program called MPEG Streamclip to export the file as an AVI format which is much more compatible with Premiere Elements.

You can get the program here: http://www.squared5.com/

I have taken 3GPP2 files (.3G2 extension), which are very similar to 3GPP files and successfully exported them as AVI's using MPEG Streamclip, which then worked great in PRE when the original files wouldn't work at all.

Let us know how things work out.
