Does LiveCycle work on Macs? I can't get a PDF to open.

I have some PDFs from an e-learning course. I downloaded a bunch of them but they won't open. Reader asks for my LiveCycle credentials, I enter them, and then I get an error that says,

"There was an error opening this document. This file could not be opened."

I'm running Mac OS 10.6.7 and Adobe Reader 10.0.2. I had someone try to open the file using Reader 10 on Windows 7 and it opened flawlessly.

Is LiveCycle incompatible with Macs?

Assuming the PDF is using Rights Management to control access to documents.  It should work fine on a Mac assuming:

1 - the LiveCycle Rights Management server's SSL certificate is valid and trusted by your Mac:  http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.4/en/mh2172.html

2 - you actually have permissions to open the document
