RoboColum(n) Apr 6, 2011 2:49 AM (in response to (MightyJack))To answer your last question first, yes you can create WinHelp output but only from the RoboHelp for Word application. This forms part of the RoboHelp Suite but is completely separate from the RoboHelp HTML application that comes with it. Which are you using? It may also help us identify what is going wrong with your first question.

(MightyJack) Apr 6, 2011 6:02 AM (in response to RoboColum(n))Tanks for you anwsard.
It is a hand written text the user has written by him self.
Is there a way to "find and replace" or batch/script those charters. So i can remove **. My file to My file. This is in the Topic Title.

RoboColum(n) Apr 6, 2011 6:20 AM (in response to (MightyJack))Perhaps if you post some examples we can help you. Use the camera icon (see below).
The issue here is that I do not fully understand what you are seeing or where you are seeing it. If all you are trying to do is change a topic title, this can be done via the topic's properties. There is no easy way to rename multiple topics in one go other than that way. At least there is but I sense it may not be a good idea to go there
However I repeat my earlier question. What piece of RoboHelp are you using (RH HTML or RH for Word)?

RoboColum(n) Apr 6, 2011 7:52 AM (in response to (MightyJack))OK. You'll have to manually remove these characters in the Topic Properties of each topic. If these topics were created as a result of some other content being imported (e.g. a PDF / Word / FrameMaker file) there maybe a way around having to do this.
BTW from the examples you have given I can see that you are using the RoboHelp HTML application. With this you will be unable to create WinHelp output.

Captiv8r Apr 6, 2011 7:57 AM (in response to (MightyJack))Hi there
To answer your question, RoboHelp HTML does offer a Find and Replace utility. Depending on your version it may be found in the ToolBox pod or by clicking Edit > Find and Replace in Files.
Or you may wish to investigate a third party utility such as FAR. Click here to visit the FAR site.
