PDF ebooks not reading like a normal book

I was wondering why when I download an ebook in a PDF format it puts all the text into large paragraphs and doesn't make a new line when someone else is talking in the story.  I never know who is the person talking, as it is all in the same paragraph.

Also there are a lot of pages that are blank and some pages that just have a few lines on them, causing me to have to turn the page often.

Is this something to do with the version of ADE that I have on my computer? .....or is this normal for ebook PDFs?

I have a Sony e-reader.

Thanks for any help I can get.

Unfortunately, PDF files don't have variable text sizing and spacing. You

can, however, rotate the reading position on your Sony ereader from vertical

to horizontal and then adjust text size. Hopefully, that will get the PDF

text to appear all on one line.
