Can white noise be removed or reduced?

Hell,

I'm creating cbt's using Cp4, Windows Vista, and a digital usb mic.  I'm still getting quite a bit of white noice on the voiceovers.  Is there a way to remove the white noise or greatly reduce it?

Hi,

You will have to use other audio editing tools like Soundbooth, Audition and remove the white noise. Once done, import it back to CP4.

Captivate 5 provides a roundtrip with Soundbooth as a part of its e-Learning Suite offering.
