Cp5 - Copying backgrounds from one slide to another are becoming corrupted!

Hello folks,

I have a rather urgent problem. Is this a Cp5 bug?

When I copy backgrounds from one slide to another, they are becoming corrupted (i.e. parts shifted, black blocks, etc.). If I repeat the copy, the corruption is repeated.

The only solution is to create a new slide and copy the background again (sometimes that works)... or the only reliable solution is to copy the entire slide (as opposed to only its background). Why?

Has anyone experienced this problem?

For me, this is a repeatable problem which seems to occur for about 99% of the time I use the copy/paste background procedure.

OS: Windows 7 64bit (with plenty of RAM, HD space)
