The CFF Font engine simply doesn't support those options, but you have
different options you can try out like cffHinting. See
Hi, thanks for the reply! I've read almost everything there is about fonts so I was close to that idea there are no such options with that engine. You suggest I try out the other options but as I look at them I don't see any of those working as sharpness or thickness. My point is that when the designer makes the design in photoshop for example he sets on some text smooth or sharp or christ which changes the font in a way I could only imitate with sharpness and thickness.
So is there any alternative to achieving that with the new engine at the moment ? If not.. will there be one ? And if that is undefined too, is it possible to somehow use the non CFF fonts with the spark components or it works only backwards ?
I don't know of any alternatives other than to use the mx text components.
Does anyone have an update for this? I'm struggling with the exact issue right now. Designers look to be detail oriented about font sharpness/thickness in photoshop.
I am looking for this as well
