My app crashes when using profiler's "take memory snapshot"

When I try to use the profiler's "take memory snapshot", in 90% of the time my application crashes.

So.... I can't profile

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I just tried this out with a sample application on my Mac (Flash Builder 4) and I was able to use the "take memory snapshot" without any problem.  Would you mind posting this issue over on the Flash Builder forums?  Please include your OS, Flash/Flex Builder version, and your Flex and AIR SDK versions.

If this is a pressing issue, I'd also like to recommend contacting our support team.

I¹ve run into this issue too. See http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FB-29278

which, curiously, Adobe eventually recategorized as a performance issue to

be looked at ³later².

Sadly, fixing it seems not to be a priority for them.

While these bugs might be related, the Jira report does mention actually opening two snapshots, not just taking them.  I'd like to recommend opening a new bug (especially since the other was closed) and letting people know the bug url so they can add their votes if they've been affected.  We use the vote count to help prioritize issues.
