    Spelll Check

      Hi,

I did a search for "Spelling",  "Spell Check", and "Check Spelling" with 0 results so I hope I'm not being redundant here.

I'm doing a spell check but I keep getting corrections that a word is not in the dictionary when it is correctly spelled. The spell checker seems just to be highlighting every word as not in dictionary. I don't remember having this problem months ago. I did recently trash the preferences. I don't want to have to "Skip" or "Ignore All" throughout each and every word in this manuscript. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Please excuse if the answer is obvious.

      Thx!

Well I'd spell that word  as either causalities or casualties, depending on what was meant, but not casualities...

I wasn't understanding the interface of the spell checker..maybe my

question should be why is the same word in the "Change to:" box the

same as the misspelled one? (becasue you're given an opportunity to

type in another word)...duh...maybe I'm used to Word's spell

checker...they don't have that extra box...thanks for pointing out the

            obvious....
