RH9 Bug? Or working as designed?

I just discovered that links to baggage files containing Word documents don't work if you already have any Word documents open. It works if you have Word open and empty, or closed, but if you have any open documents, the file doesn't open. This means I'll need to write rather involved instructions on how to open a linked file - or am I doing something wrong?

How exactly are you testing? I ask because there is a known issue beyond RoboHelp's control where if you have enabled Mark Of The Web (MOTW) links to Baggage Files will not work. But this only happens if you test by running the WebHelp locally off your C drive. Once you pop it up on a server and test from there things begin working again.
