Review - Robohelp cannot access Acrobat.com

Hi all,

I have created an account at acrobat.com and am able to log into my space there. But when I try to upload a PDF for review over RoboHelp, then it always says that this is not a valid account.

We are behind a firewall (of course) and my admin has opened the acrobat.com site for me. Is perhaps any additional access required for RoboHelp to be able to connect to the acrobat.com site?

Can you access Acrobat.com from outside Robohelp? If so, do you have Acrobat X installed or TCS2 (which has Acrobat 9 Pro Extended). You much have either of this for the Acrobat review option to work.

Colum,

yes I can log into acrobat.com using the browser without problems and see my webspace. I have TCS3 installed including Acrobat X.

The only other thing I can think of is trying this from outside your firewall.

Hi Robert,

Can you please try uploading the PDF using acrobat directly.

Please do the following steps to upload the PDF using acrobat.

1. Open an PDF document in Acrobat X

2. Go to Review from View->Comment->Review option

3. Select send for shared review option and send the document.

Please let me know if you are able to send the document from Acrobat.

Thanks,

Mona

Mona,

no uploading directly from Acrobat X results in the same problem. I just saw that I can access Acrobat.com from the browser, but when I try to upload a document there then the message "An unexpected error has occurred" is displayed.

Hi Robert,

I looked at the acrobat.com forum. The same issue is being discussed in that forum.

Please check this link http://forums.adobe.com/thread/802435?tstart=0.

Hope this will help you.

Thanks,

Mona

Mona,

you are right this is the same problem. Regrettably no solution has turned up yet. I have contacted the Adobe service and received no response from them either.
