Pentax K5 MJPEG Premiere Pro CS4 issues

      Hi all,

I've read a lot of posts on people having problems with mjpeg files and premiere pro. They usually seem to be solved by installing one of a few codecs that are around. None of these have worked for me.

I'm trying to edit video from a Pentax K5, Premiere Pro CS4, Windows 7 x64. GSpot tells me that the codec is MJPG, and that the correct codecs are installed. I've attempted to set up my Premiere file according to the GSpot output, but when I import the video file, the picture doesn't move past the first frame (the audio plays normally). The videos play fine in any of the media players on my machine, and I can import them no problem into AE.

I've tried Mainconcept, Morgan, ffdshow to no avail. In fact, when I used Mainconcept, I didn't even get the first frame image, just a black screen.

Any advice for next steps would be greatly appreciated. If there's any more information I can give, please let me know.

      Thanks.
