Sharpen in Develop module or in the Export dialog box?

As per LR help, "Output sharpening is performed in addition to any sharpening you apply in the Develop module." So, I wonder, if do sharpening in the develop module(which is usually the case, because I apply sharpening on import as a preset) should I still apply sharpening on export(Export dialog box->output sharpening)? My workflow is usually as follows: import 12 mp raws, with a preset that involves some sharpening(55,1,40,0),then I do some adjustments to the photos and I export to jpg with a heavy resize(long edge 800pix). On export I usually DO check "sharpen for: screen" "amount: standard." Is my sharpening workflow OK?

      Thank you.

Yes. You should sharpen in both places. Sharpening during develop is input sharpening -- to correct the softness introduced during the camera sensor conversion and later demosaic process. This is the sharpness you can easily see giving edges more contrast at full view.

Output sharpening is dependent on the output display (usually, print or screen) and is a different animal.

There are lots of references inthese forums to papers and discussions about the differences, and the reasoning and math behind the Lr way.
