Soundbooth CS5 Randomly Crashes on Mac

I run SB CS5 on an iMac and a Macbook Pro, both relatively new.  Both are running OSX 10.6.5 and both have fastest processors available with 8GB memory.

I mostly edit pre-recorded audio files (mp3) that are one on one interviews.  The software will crash about every 3rd time I use it.  I can't seem to force it do crash and I can't point to any commonality of tasks when it happens.  Sometimes it is when I click to save a file, sometimes when I try to open a 2nd file.  Last time I had only one 20 min. mp3 open and after about an hour of tiny edits (mostly cutting clips out) and adjusting levels, etc. I tried to open another file and the program crashed.  Upon re-open the software does not even remember the file I was working on.  This is extremely annoying.  However, if I re-open and re-edit I have been able to get my job done.

There must be some problem.  I have an Adobe ticket going but the tech wants me to call when it happens.  Says he can't do anything until then.

Anyone else have this issue?  Found anything to solve it?
