1. Re: Dumb form question in the configurator page
Silviu Vergoti May 30, 2011 3:15 AM (in response to Mr. Andersson)Hi,
this question alllows backwards-compatibility with the older Flash Player v 10.0.
Using any of those type of assets would require the Flash Player features that appeared in 10.1, therefore a FMP compiled with those features. Responding "Yes" will change the player link to FlashMediaPlayback_101.swf that knows about those features and is slightly larger.
Let me know if you want more information.

2. Re: Dumb form question in the configurator page
Mr. Andersson May 30, 2011 3:21 AM (in response to Silviu Vergoti)I am not talking about the technical aspect of the question.
It's a multiple choice question with a YES/NO option.
It can not be answered.
Please answer this question:
Is Barack Obama or Donald Trump president of the USA?
YES NO

3. Re: Dumb form question in the configurator page
Gelu Blanariu May 30, 2011 4:20 AM (in response to Mr. Andersson)Hi,
For that question is Yes if you are using HTTP Streaming or Flash Access 2.0 (either one of them) because for this technologies you need the Flash Media Playback compiled for Flash Player 10.1.
I hope this makes things more clear,
Gelu

4. Re: Dumb form question in the configurator page
Mr. Andersson May 30, 2011 4:48 AM (in response to Gelu Blanariu)Ok, now I see your perspective. The NO represents a third option. Not very clear is it for the less knowledgeable person? If I could misunderstand this so can probably others too.
I think you could fix this dilemma like this
Are you using HTTP Streaming or Flash Access 2.0?
Yes No, none of the aboveOr better still making it three choices and you could stipulate what the NO option stands for.Are you using:
* HTTP Streaming* Flash Access 2.0
* "Name of the third choice"
