1. Re: Enable Profile Correction Question
Ian Lyons Jun 2, 2011 11:09 AM (in response to rollsnut)Yes it's possible. However, you'll need to repeat following steps for each camera model you use.
1. Select file in Library module. The file should be one that Lr has a lens profile for, and without any develop adjustments (i.e an unedited file)
2. Switch to Develop module
3. Scroll down to Lens Corrections panel
4. Check the box labelled Enable Profile Corrections. Make sure the Setup popup says Default.
5. Go to Develop menu and choose Setup Default Settings
6. When dialog opens hit the Update to Current Settings button
Above tells Lr to automatically apply default lens profile to any file that has an available profile.

Thanks for responding. Quick clarification please, will this also automatically adjust for the lens I use? I do switch lenses depending upon the shoot.
Thanks,
Brad

Thanks - get the gold star!
Just another question if I may....My main camera is the Canon 5D MkII and the reset works well as I tried it on two new catalogues. I also have another camera the 40D. If I create a new catalog using 40D shots will I have to go to first photo, set camera info and sync all the rest for that catalog or will it find the 40D profile automatically?
Sorry to bother you but it's great when one finds a "guru" on a question.
Thanks,
Brad
