hello, first excuse me for my english i speak french.

i have problem with publish with fms.

      I explain:

i have a song play in back

      i have microphone to sing

      and camera

when  publish in mp4 the voice is ok and camera good. But the song play in background dont have good quality.

      Then i search solution...

1- can i separate voice and song in my microphone? if yes do you have an exemple? because the sound o f voice is ok but song in background not good

2- else can mix my original song mp4 to camera and microphone? and publish record all with fms?

thanks a lot to help me to find solution and ifyou cangiveme an exemple i appreciate

Sorry - i did not get your query clearly but let me try to put it in my own words and see if i got it right.

What you are doing is playing a song on your machine (which you call as background song) , on same maching you are using your publishing client (i suppose flash client), and taking feed from your microphone and camera and attaching both to your NetStream. Am I right?

You cannot mix the content - i mean two audio sources in one single NetStream. But i would like to know your scenarion clearly before we dig further.

What i can suggest is you have background song on server and publish your microphone and camera as per song. And then in playback client, create two netstream - one which plays the background song and one which plays recorded stream containing audio from your microphone and video from your camera.

            Thank you for your reply.

Let me explain a bit more clearly.

I use FMS. I have a player to play a video of a song. When I click my save button, it activates my microphone and my camera so I can sing.

Then all that is published on FMS.

My problem is that I want to publish only the voice and my camera regardless of the music video.

I think I have to use classes like FFT but now I'm lost. I'm probably analyze the frequency to keep only the voice?

Because right now if I publish a FMS, and I put my music evolve to OFF, the voice comes out very well in mp4. By with background music .... it's really not good.

Unless you have another way to get out while the best quality? The video is in MP4 and when I listen with FMS is not the same quality to it that the sound coming into the speaker is registered.

            Thank you for your help

Sorry oeann I am still not getting your use case clearly.

If you do not want background song to be recorded - then you don't send it during publishing - you just send your microphone and camera feed.

Also did not get what did you mean by FFT?

Now i get your problem but somehow its nothing to with FMS or Flash Player - its sort of external problem - what i would suggest is use good headset for Mic input and hearing the song - in this way your song input wont go into the mic.
