Cindy- Jun 8, 2011 6:36 PM (in response to Grant H)That was my thought. By the sound of it there are problems with CS5?

Actually at this point (after a couple of dot releases) there's very little problem with CS5. You can't go by the volume in the forums because people who come here are coming here largely because that have problems. People who don't have problems really don't come here to post they have no problems, ya know?

ddreifus Jun 9, 2011 3:38 PM (in response to Cindy-)Minor point changes like 10.6.7 should present no problem for Photoshop.

6. Re: Any issues with 10.6.7?
Cindy- Jun 9, 2011 3:49 PM (in response to ddreifus)All finished. No problems. Now onto Lion. Not too sure about that. Going to watch and wait.

7. Re: Any issues with 10.6.7?
ddreifus Jun 9, 2011 3:57 PM (in response to Cindy-)Apart from Lion dropping Rosetta support for PPC code, my understanding thus far, is that many of the changes are cosmetic, full screen apps and expanded swipe controls similar to iOS, so you may find the transition to Lion also moves ahead uneventfully. Good idea to check your hard drive for older applications that will require substitutes for Intel only. Use "Get Info" to confirm.

8. Re: Any issues with 10.6.7?
Cindy- Jun 9, 2011 4:05 PM (in response to ddreifus)Thanks! I probably do have some Rosetta apps. :(
Once you do look in "info" where does it show? I just checked one that I was sure was Rosetta but I don't see anything.

Cindy- Jun 9, 2011 4:10 PM (in response to Cindy-)Just found the Lion killer... Quick Books 6. I'm not upgrading that. Oh well.

[scott] Jun 9, 2011 4:18 PM (in response to Cindy-)Using Activity Monitor will show any currently running PPC apps you still have.

11. Re: Any issues with 10.6.7?
ddreifus Jun 9, 2011 4:30 PM (in response to Cindy-)It's not a complete replacement for QuickBooks, but I've gone to iBank which reads QIF format and at least gives rudimentary finance and investment tracking. Pages includes an Invoice template. Not the same I know, but can be used.

12. Re: Any issues with 10.6.7?
Cindy- Jun 9, 2011 4:40 PM (in response to ddreifus)Unfortunately my QB records go back years. I can't substitute it. My only option would be to upgrade it and it just irritates me too much. I will check out iBank though.
