1. Re: Major Problems with Captivate 5.5 and Connect Pro
Xeon64 Jun 22, 2011 2:15 PM (in response to Xeon64)I just realize something. If I open a CP 5 file with quizzes save as a CP 5.5 with out making changes to the quiz it will publish with no problem. However if anything is changed on any question pool slide the project will no longer publish to Connect.
Every question has to be changed because Captivate 5.5 messes up all of the text alignment and some of it runs off the stage area and is not visible.
This is ridiculous. I should not have to rebuild all of my project files every time I upgrade.

Xeon64 Jun 23, 2011 6:20 AM (in response to Xeon64)Alright. I did further testing and discovered that if you hit shift plus enter on text with in a quiz it will cause the project to fail while publishing. Not sure why this is. Just one more of those thing to remember not to do in Captivate.

vishhere Jun 27, 2011 7:34 PM (in response to Xeon64)Hello There,
Can you please let me know why you were trying to do Shift+Enter? also, what are the text formatting issues you were talking about when you open the Captivate 5 files in Captivate 5.5?
Thanks,
Vish

4. Re: Major Problems with Captivate 5.5 and Connect Pro
Xeon64 Jun 28, 2011 9:11 AM (in response to vishhere)I caught myself doing shift enter by habit from working in Dreamweaver. Also If I have a text that is set tp use bullets and I want to go the next line with out that line having a bullet then shift enter must be used.
The Problem with CP 5.5 is with Quiz questions when upgrading a CP 5 file. Cp 5.5 will shift all of the quiz questions over to the right. Sometimes making the question go off of the stage.
