r6025 error when inporting sequences.
Shane P Jul 4, 2011 8:36 AMHello All,
I was wondering if someone has insight as to what could be causing a "r6025 - pure vital function call" error. I have been having this problem on
and off for a while now. I see alot of others have had/are having this error and I have already searched through the forums and tried finding a
solution before posting here.
I have not seen any specifc references to the error in relation to my workflow when I receive it.
Before moving forward, here are my system specs.

Ok, here's what happening:
The only time I receive the above mentioned error is when I have a project open and I choose to import selceted sequences from another PP project
file. If I choose to import a single sequence it pulls everything in fine, if however I choose multiple sequences I receive the error.
The weird thing is that it is not a consistent error. For example, if I have a relativelty small project with just a handful of clips and
sequences I notice that I am able to import multiple sequences from another PP project without issue. If I have a larger project with many
sequences and assets, say maybe 50 sequences, 70-100 footage files, etc., and I proceed to import more than one sequence from another PP project I
receive the error.
I was originally thinking maybe PP is just choking as it is only accessing 4GB ram? Maybe the processor is not beefy enough? I don't think it is a
software conflict as I only have some piriform products such a CCleaner, etc and Globalscape's CuteFTP installed. I use my system strictly for
media creation like mostly everone here and do not and download the typical junk you see on most "home" systems.
If there is a quick fix great, if not it's ok I will continue to deal with it but then my main question would be when I upgrade to 5.5 and Win 7
Pro do you think this issue might be resolved ?
Thank you in advance to anyone who may have any insight into this issue,
Shane
