1. Re: How do you obtain the TOTAL article size before uploading??
Shaun Phillips Jul 5, 2011 4:12 AM (in response to Shaun Phillips)The linked content it's self comes in at just under 130mb over 6 pages. I had read somwhere that the limit was 200mb so either A) DPS is adding a whole host of information to the article during the upload B) the 200mb limit has been capped lower or C) I'm missing something not obvious. I have created a few of these already so I'm kida stumped as to what is wrong here. It keeps coming up with failed download, your file is to big.

MartijnDoornenbal Jul 5, 2011 6:41 AM (in response to Shaun Phillips)B) The limit is 100MB for one article.
That's really low when you add some video to your article, so hopefully they will change that in the future!

Shaun Phillips Jul 5, 2011 7:54 AM (in response to MartijnDoornenbal)Damn, after speaking to a friend I thought it was 200mb not 100mb. That has really stuffed the article. A series of 8 short videos comparing our product to our competitor. Unfortunatley, it had to remain in this article as it tied up with what was on the rest of the article pages. After several re-renders, i can't comprimise the quality of the picture any further or it just loses it's impact. I sure hope this isn't a perminant limit. Thank you for getting back to me though MartijnDoornenbal.

4. Re: How do you obtain the TOTAL article size before uploading??
seanroosevelt Jul 5, 2011 1:19 PM (in response to Shaun Phillips)We have the exact same issue going on. Adobe needs to allow more space for uploads since we spent all this $$$ or let us do it without going through acrobat.com to produce our folios. Our issue is we produce apps for the app store and we create books with 2 hours of instructional video content. I don't think it is fair to be able to create folios that pretty much had no limit during the beta to have a 100mb limit after we purchased this, and where exactly can you find the maximum size limit listed anywhere, besides all the talk on the forums.
Can you request the limit to be lifted? This is very frustrating since we have 5 books with chapters that are way over the limit and can not move forward because of this.

5. Re: How do you obtain the TOTAL article size before uploading??
mdalton@adobe.com Jul 5, 2011 10:38 PM (in response to seanroosevelt)The limit is currently 100 mb per article. You may have multiple articles in a folio and multiple folios in your account. Based on user feedback we are working on increasing the per article limit in a future release.
