Dear all
We are developing apps for a publishers. We have been developing and testing with our own certificates and have distributed successfully ad hoc to registered devices.
Comes publish day, the publisher wants us to switch to their certificates.
We get their development p12 key and distribution profile and install them on the Windows machine that does the publishing (all like before)
In publish settings for iOS, we choose their dev p12 and their distribution certificate (which corrects the app id to their app).
After publishing i get 2 errors:
As ad hoc I can't test it on a device - It won't install
Submitting through application to iTunes says "Signer not valid"
What can I do to troubleshoot this?
Can it be something wrong with certificates?
Best regards
Skeeto
You can't just copy the p12 file. Developer certificates are tied to a specific machine. You will need to generate a p12 file on the new machine and register that machine on the Apple developer portal.
