1. Re: Flash Card Reader Problem
Bill Gehrke Jul 17, 2011 11:28 AM (in response to flbreen)I just have had a somewhat similar problem with an intermittant USB 2 connector. Have you tried other USB ports and/or another cable if it is a seperate cable.

flbreen Jul 17, 2011 12:51 PM (in response to Bill Gehrke)I followed your suggestion and I plugged the card reader into a USB port that connects to a different part of the MOBO and I still have the problem.
I was able to read the card using the original USB port.
I put the card back in my FS-H200 recorder and and set it in HDD mode.
I think the system interprets the recorder as a LINUX device and it has a good USB driver for that device.
The USB port works but it doesn'r have a good driver for a flash card anymore.

For Windows problems (if this is one) search at http://search.microsoft.com/search.aspx?mkt=en-US&setlang=en-US
What you MAY want to do (search first) is remove the USB via Control Panel and then restart, so Windows will reinstall the driver
