joe bloe premiere Jul 17, 2011 3:51 PM (in response to cjacs987654)I'd say... don't do that anymore.
Set your preferred system volume level before you start Premiere,
and use the controls within premiere, or turn the knob on your
speakers to adjust volume levels while you are working. -

cjacs987654 Jul 18, 2011 2:14 AM (in response to joe bloe premiere)Hi Joe
Thanks for your reply.
For my particular circumstances I find it easier to change windows volume.
Perhaps my question should of been worded, why does PPro have a problem with the user change the windows volume when all other
media programs dont
Is iot just my system or have other people experiened this?
Thanks
Chris

Jon-M-Spear Jul 18, 2011 2:34 AM (in response to cjacs987654)I seem to recall that it used to be an issue when PP CS5 lost the focus. Clicking back on to regain focus would do exactly as you describe.
Latest patches/updates fixed the problem.
