Zhiqiang Liu Jul 19, 2011 6:22 PM (in response to mandarpkulkarni@gmail.com)Hello,
For the "rename", "new folder" you mentioned, Adobe Drive indeed leverages the context menus provided Explorer in Windows and Finder in Mac OS. Besides those menus, Adobe Drive also supports "copy", "paste", "delete", etc context menus provided by OS.
Thanks,
Zhiqiang

mandarpkulkarni@gmail.com Jul 19, 2011 11:53 PM (in response to Zhiqiang Liu)Thanks for the answer, Zhiqiang.
So does that mean I will be able to test most of the about 44 methods defined by CMIS v1.0 using the CMIS connector? Do you have an exact list of CMIS methods which can not be tested using the connector?

Zhiqiang Liu Jul 26, 2011 1:08 AM (in response to mandarpkulkarni@gmail.com)Hello,
You want to use Adobe Drive + CMIS Connector to test your CMIS server, right? Because the operations in Adobe Drive, for example, rename operation in the context menu can uses serveral CMIS services, like getObject, moveObject, updateProperties, etc, you have to know exactly the CMIS services used by Adobe Drive for each operation.
Thanks,
Zhiqiang -
8. Re: Operations supported by CMIS connector
mandarpkulkarni@gmail.com Jul 26, 2011 2:07 AM (in response to Zhiqiang Liu)That's correct. We are using Adobe Drive + CMIS connector to test our CMIS server.
As you said, for CMIS server side develoment wrt Drive, we need to know the the exact list of CMIS services used by Adobe Drive for each operation. I have been trying to figure that out by doing a kind of reverse engineering. I write stubs for a few CMIS services, then initiate an operation from Drive side and then see what methods are invoked. But this does not work all the time.
So if you can provide such mapping which enlists CMIS services needed to be implemented on our side for each operation that can be initiated from Drive, that would be really great.
Thanks!
