I have an app that I am writing that requires a user to create a username and password to log in and it creates a local SQLite database to save project information. If a person with administrative rights installs this on a home computer with several accounts on it and makes the program available to all user accounts on the machine, what will happen? Will each user be able to create their own username and password and will a separate SQLite database be created for each account, or will they all have to use the same username and password and all share the same SQLite database? Or does this have to be handled programatically somehow in Flex?
Thanks for any insight!
var f:File = File.applicationStorageDirectory.resolvePath("Test.txt");
trace(f.nativePath + " is where my file is stored");
try that and you'll see the storage path is in the Users folder. So presumably each user would have their own databases
Wow, you gotta hate it when a guy comes up with a logical explanation and two simple lines of code that could have answered my question if I had taken the time to think of it myself. I think that is called lazy on my part??? I feel a bit sheepish. Thanks, Kokorito, a simple example that answered my question elegantly.
