Multiple audio recordings play at the same time

HI there,

I have created a course and attached that audio recording narration that was created in another software.  The course plays fine when you run it from start to finish.  However when the learner moves around the course (to a different page - forward or backwards) using the scroll navigation, multiple audio from all different pages start playing at the same time.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Thank you!

Hello,

Which version of CP, please?

If it is Captivate 5: do you have the latest version: 5.0.2.630?

Is the audio attached as slide audio?

Hi Lilybiri,

I am using Captivate 5.5.  The audio is attached as a slide audio.

Thanks for your help!

On more point of clarification.  When you move in the course, for example from

slide 1 to slide 10, it plays all of the audio in between.

This is very strange, difficult to guess the cause... never had such an issue. Normally when the object to which the audio is attached disappears the audio stops. So in your case going to a next slide should stop the audio of the previous slide. Same with object audio.

Do you have the different audio clips (one per slide) in the Library? Could you try to delete the audio on the slide and drag it again from the Library to see if you have the same result? And what happens when you attach the audio clip to an object on the slide (you can create a totally transparent rectangle with no stroke that will not be visible to attach the audio).
