Harm Millaard Aug 1, 2011 11:21 AM (in response to Steve from NY)Increase memory to 24 GB. 6 x 4 GB sticks. Corsair Vengeance is good, I use it myself.
PS. I saw you have three dual kits, so it is already 24 GB. Please change that to two tri-kits or one hex-kit.

Thought this might be useful about the Seagates
Yeah, if you eventually think of going parity RAID with those disks, like 3 or 5, loose the Barracuda XTs. Otherwise, stand alone and RAID0 is perfectly fine. You're gonna have lot's of fun backuping 6TB on a regular basis. That's a lot of data management. Just thought you should know.

JEShort01 Aug 1, 2011 7:40 PM (in response to Steve from NY)Nice system Steve, I think you will be very happy with it.
My only new comment is to not use the "free" drive coolers you have listed, even if they are free; the 932 has a very nice 5x drive bay design that is cooled by a slow turning (read quiet) 120mm fan.
Enjoy!

Steve from NY Aug 1, 2011 8:26 PM (in response to JEShort01)Thanks Jim, I was starting to think the same thing. Never liked those individual coolers.
