1. Re: Lion, InD CS5 & FAP
P Spier Aug 8, 2011 6:45 AM (in response to peterpica)You mean besides rolling back to SL?
Apparently there are quite a few things that Lion breaks in terms of compatibility with older programs. There's a Knowledgbase page (which I don't seem to have bookmarked) that lists all the known issues with Adobe products. Kind of scary, but there certainly are folks who are making the changeover successfully.

peterpica Aug 8, 2011 6:58 AM (in response to P Spier)Thanks Peter. If there's a solution, I'm sure that Bob will let me know about it.
I've written to Insider people and am awaiting response. I'd expected CS5 issues because of all the warnings I was getting from plug-in developers for Photoshop especially. Glad I didn't install on my main drive... did something smart for a change.

Just got response from Insider... they've released an FAP upgrade to resolve... off to the races to see if it works.
Thanks all.

peterpica Aug 9, 2011 9:19 AM (in response to peterpica)Have given up; FAP upgrade does NOT fix the problems with CS5. Am going back to Snow Leopard. Sigh...
Also, just bought a MacBook Air for granddaughter starting college... my Apple dealer told me to stay away from Lion for at least 6 months.
Interesting.
