I am created a graphic in Fireworks MX 2004 for print. The client says =
the printing contractor needs it converted to CMYK. Does Fireworks do =
this? And What format should I save it to send to the print shop?

      Thanks!

That's going to be a problem because Fireworks was developed for screen
          graphics, not for print.

          The client

          No, it doesn't.

And What format should I save it to send to the
          > print shop?

Unless you convert it to CMYK and increase the resolution, the printer
is very likely going to refuse it.

            Scott,

Fireworks is designed for web graphics not print so it does not support
CMYK. You should use another application for that.

              Thanks, Linda and Alex.

I think I figured out that I can import a Fireworks graphic into Freehand
and process it there for print.
