After I import FrameMaker files into RoboHelp I try to use File > Generate > ePub Output. I continually get an application error (0xc00000fd) and the program closes.

Try doing it with one of the sample projects - I believe there's an ePUB one now. See if it crashes - that will determine whether the issue is something in your content from FM or in RH.

I used a sample project and it still crashed.

Ok, then the issue is in RH. Have you checked the help to see if you're missing something? I don't create ePUBs, so I'm not sure what's required.

Hi there
Did you configure the script or simply try running it? For ePub, you have to download and install a separate application (7zip) and tell RoboHelp where you installed it before the script will work. I believe RoboHelp 9 has a dialog for that.

Hi,
Does RoboHelp only crash with the ePub script? What happens if you try to run the Eclipse Help script?

I can't even get this far. As soon as I select File > Generate > ePub I get the error message and the program closes. I can select the other outputs.
I appreciate your help!

Not Rick, but perhaps I can help.
The ePub layout is created using a script and differs from 'other' SSL formats. Try the following:
1. Create a new test project with just one or two topics.
2. Open the script explorer: View > Pods > Script explorer.
3. Run the Word count.jsx script.
Does RoboHelp crash?

Hi
No, but when I run the epubs script in the list it does.

Hi,
Perhaps the script became corrupted for some reason. Try the following:
1. Remove the ePub script using the script pod.
2. Import the backup script from the RH installation directory \RoboHTML\presets\scripts such as C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 9\RoboHTML\presets\scripts
3. Run the ePub script. Does it crash again?
Check that the backup script exists before deleting the one in the script pod.
Greet,
Willam
