spinlight Aug 22, 2011 11:01 AM (in response to relaxatraja)We need the app to be full screen without the iPad header. I did try you suggestion to see what would happen, but it actually created even worse perfomance. Basically we build the project for the iPhone (Retina quality) where it performs fine. Then I duplicated the project changed the stage size to match the iPad and replace many elements with larger graphics to fill the slightly larger screen.
All code being the same, the app crawls after awhile. The iPhone version doesn't behave this way. It just seems like Flash is packaging the file differently between the two. I wouldn't think the hardware would be that different. The 3GS and iPhone 4 are very stable and speedy with our app.
Anything else I should be considering? Thanks!
