Hello All!

I'm using RoboHelp 9.0.1 and I have some MP4 files that I would like to include in our Help provided in both chm file and WebHelp versions.  The problem is that unless I use an absolute path to the MP4, I can't get it to play. I'm not sure how to make it a relative path. The MP4 exists in the root of the project directory. The topic that has the object below also exists in the root of the project directory. I've tried several different things, but so far no luck...

This is the HTML using the absolute path:

<p><object id="VIDEO" classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6"
    type="application/x-oleobject" style="position: inherit; left: 0;
    top: 0; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;
    margin-bottom: 0px;" width="640" height="480">
<param name="AutoStart" value="False"  />
<param name="baseURL" value=""  />
<param name="Enabled" value="True"  />
<param name="PlayCount" value="1"  />
<param name="SendPlayStateChangeEvents" value="True"  />
<param name="StretchtoFit" value="True"  />
<param name="uiMode" value="full"  />
<param name="URL" value="C:\Users\dslutzky\Documents\My RoboHelp Projects\SANsymphony-V\01_connecting_for_first_time.mp4"
  />
     </object> </p>

Can anyone out there help me to make the path to the MP4 file a relative path?

I have very little experience with HTML...

Thanks!!

-Deb

Hi Deb

Can you send me the MP4? If so, I'll be happy to see if I can make it work.

Perhaps the files need to be added as baggage files?

I had already added the file as a baggage file.

But thanks for the suggestion....
