I wouldnt think so. A view is a container so display objects are inside it
you can use states within a view and then use transitions to simulate the sliding of components
I thought about that but was worried about performance even with virtualization on the lists.

not as such. I do use states in views but not with transitions, might try it though
I dont see why it would be a performance issue
