Hi:
Now that Service Pack 9.0.1 addresses the issues with conditional build tags, we have decided to upgrade our RoboHelp version from 8 to 9 to 9.0.1. Our projects use a lot of conditional build tags and version controlled using Sourcesafe. Here are my question.
Thanks,
K

If you are going to uninstall an earlier version, it is always best to do it before installing the later version. You can leave it on the PC if you wish but you cannot install the two versions on different machines if you purchased the upgrade.
I haven't installed RoboHelp 9 on Windows XP but as you point out Adobe support it. I haven't seen any reports of anyone having problems because they are using XP.
Yes just open the project in the usual way but always create a backup just in case. The upgrade from 8 to 9 seems to be easier than the upgrade from earlier versions.
