So everytime i try to view a PDF file in safari it keeps saying i have a missing plug-in. when i click it, it leads me to adobe reader which i dowloaded and yet it still has the missing plug-in. i have redowloaded it many times and still no luck. mac version 10.6.8 and safari version 5.1. can someone please help me.

I am having same problem. Tells me missing plug-in when I try to open document from web page. However, when I go to my Library folder and open internet plug ins; there is no folder for Adobe...... I am in school and need to open documents from a web page link....Please give us directions on how to fix this problem.

UPDATE FROM THE LINK ABOVE:
The only normal user (non-admin type) who can mark an answer as helpful or correct is the user who started the discussion.
So, in this case is "jramos760".
