Hi,

I just bought a machine with Windows 7 and installed Captivate 5.5. It installed to the Program Files (x86) folder, which I understand is the folder for 32 bit applications. I wanted to confirm this was where Captivate 5.5 should be installed?

Thank you,

Michele

Hi Michele

The saying "right as rain" comes to mind.

Seeing as how Captivate is a 32 bit application, I'd say that the fact it installed where 32 bit apps typically install is spot on and things are right in the world!

Cheers... Rick

Hello Michele,

Yes, that is where Captivate 5.5 will be installed (32-bit). Even in the Master collection, only a few applications do have real 64-bit alternatives: Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects are the only ones in the 64-bit folder. And as for MS Office, I first tried out the 64-bit version but it has so many problems that I reverted to the 32-bit bunch.
