When editing the HTML of my project, when I put the cursor into position the text at that point partially disappears - notice the 'd' in 'bold' above. It's also slow and generally just difficult to use because the text gets so messed up when you edit it, that you can't see what you're doing!!
Trying to insert javascript is an absolute nightmare.
Is it just me or do other people have this issue too?
Hi,
Try to set the zoom level to 100% and the font to Courier new. The garbled view of the HTML editor is normally caused by either of those settings.
If this is not the case, please let us know the version of RoboHelp you are using.

Willam

Please see the sticky topic Before You Post. I'm guessing what you are seeing is a bug from RoboHelp 7 or above. If in HTML view you change the font size to anything other than 100% or the font style to anything other than Courier or Lucida Console, you will see the code jumping around and generally being unusable.
Go to HTML View and change the size to 100% and the font to either of those above and it should be OK.

Thanks - it works much better now.
There is still a slight delay when moving the cursor around so it's not perfect but a definite improvement. Now i just need to work on improving my eyesight so I can see properly without zooming in.
I'm using RoboHelp 9.
Cheers!

The more people who report a bug or request a feature, the more likely it is to be actioned. Please follow this link.

There's no point in having a view size if you cannot use it and the font list should be limited to what you can use, or better still the editor should work with any font available.
