Photoshop CS5 crop tool problem on PC

I recently upgraded to CS5 on the PC. The crop tool was working fine in Photoshop until now. When I crop anything, I get a gray1-pixel image. Did I hit a keystroke that altered my crop tool?

When the crop tool is selected, up in the tool options bar is box called Clear.

Click that to clear any values the might be entered in the boxes to the left

of that button.
