Jacob Bugge Sep 20, 2011 9:16 AM (in response to dwaynie)Dwayne,
Have you tried Select>Object>Stray points?
Apart from that you may lock Europe and select across it, including the big round lakes.

Jacob Bugge Sep 20, 2011 9:35 AM (in response to dwaynie)Dwayne,
If you lock the overall path of all Europe, you should be able to (Direct) select the paths inside.

Monika Gause Sep 20, 2011 10:01 AM (in response to dwaynie)When the big areas are locked you can just select all which then selects all that is unlocked.
You could also try scripts that select object based on their size.
like this:

or Select Paths with less than x points

Jacob Bugge Sep 20, 2011 11:01 AM (in response to dwaynie)You are welcome, Dwaynie.
And what Monika said; thank you Monika for being in while I was out.
Maybe I should have said drag across it in the first post, and select all the paths inside in post #4.
The wording is always a challenge, and seeing which works in each case is another pleasure here.

Kurt Gold Sep 20, 2011 2:07 PM (in response to Jacob Bugge)Is Lake Constance so big nowadays?
The area around Belgium is a military area, rather than a lake.

Jacob Bugge Sep 20, 2011 2:24 PM (in response to Kurt Gold)I thought both might have become, Kurt, with all the rain this year.
Even up here, the harvest is only just about over, for the lucky ones.
