Unspecified error when creating topic in RH9

Hi,

since a few weeks, when creating a new topic in RH 9, I get an "unspecified error" message: new>topic>[fill in title]>OK>error message.RHissue.png

Could anyone tell me how to avoid this?

I have a workaround, copying a topic works. I'm just not planning to do this every time, and starting brang new projects from scratch isn't possible either (besides when I'd import a topic).

tx,
Ynske

As an addition, I can say that there were no updates done to RH9, nor other programs installed on my pc.

Does it happen with one of the sample projects in RH9?

Hi there

Can you please click File > Rename Project and screen capture that dialog?

Post it here for us to see.

Thanks... Rick

Hi Captiv8r,

I think I get your drift. You mean the file name is too long?

Effectively, when I shorten the name of the project, problem disappears.

Could you tell me what the max amount of characters is for a title?

tx,

Yns

Instead of second guessing Rick, why not post the screenshot he has requested? I have a suspicion as to why he has asked and if I am right, it is not the length of the title, possibly the characters in it.
