dwaynie Sep 29, 2011 3:32 PM (in response to Ned Murphy)I can select one symbol and swap it with another. Do you get that part?
So say I have multiple instances of the same symbol laid out on the scene. Why can't I select all of them, and swap it with another symbol the same way I could had I only selected one instance?
Now I have to select one, click Swap, select the next, click Swap and so on and so forth. And I have a few thousand instances.

No, I do not know what you mean when you talk about swapping.

Ned Murphy Sep 29, 2011 4:14 PM (in response to dwaynie)If you are talking about swapping a symbol with a different one from the library, that is limited to one symbol at a time. But you can extend that capability using JSFL. Here's a link to a tool that might work for you...
If you have a thousand objects to change, you might want to rethink your design to using a dynamic approach unless placement of the objects needs to be managed to specific manually defined locations. That way you can just change the linkage of the symbol and the programming will take care of the rest.
