Flash player is still running too fast without sound multiple system restarts and flash reinstalls have not fixed it either. I have also uninstalled it before installing it. I am running windows xp proffesional sp3. My os was just reinstalled a day ago after my primary hard drive died. I don't think its a problem with the registry have ran multiple scans with vipre and tunup utilities everything is clean. I honestly would like to watch videos please.

I'm sorry, I have never heard of such a thing happening.  What Flash Player version are you using, on what browser?

The only thing I can recommend you to try is disable Hardware Acceleration (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/891337).
