I have been trying to install the flash player for windows 7-64 bit.  It gets about 50% and then says to close all internet explorer.  I close main window and nothing else is running (at least I don't think!) and I can't proceed.  What can I do!!!!

Download the installer from the link in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/909550 and save it to disk.  Close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer.

some people are finding that there are multiple instances of ieplore.exe are running.  launch task manager and click on the process tab.  sort by name and make sure there are no instances of iexplore.exe running.  if there are, make sure to quit out of them.
