Updated to Flash Player 11 on Friday, and everything that requires flash has not worked, youtube, etc. I tried to install flash 10.3 with no success, however I'm not sure if I made an error somewhere. Anyone else experiencing this issue? My browser is IE8, hope that helps.

Since you mention IE8 I assume you are on Windows. What version? 32-bit or 64-bit?
One IE8, Tools, add-ons, do you see Shockwave Flash Object, and is it enabled?

Ok, I received your PM that you couldn't post here, that your system is 32-bit, and Shockwave Flash is enabled.
What I would do in your situation is go to http://forums.adobe.com/thread/909550 and download
then close all browser windows and run the downloaded uninstaller, followed by the installer.
Can you see the Flash animation at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ after performing this?

No I could not see the Flash Animation after performing the steps you sent me.

Please list what files you have in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
Can you also copy & paste the contents of the FlashInstall.log file in that folder?

Flash11c.ox
FlashInstall
FlashUtil11c_ActiveX.dll
FlashUtil11c_ActiveX
install
Where might I find the FlashInstall.log file at?
Thank you very much for support by the way.

Your Explorer settings does not list the file extensions, so it only shows as FlashInstall in that same folder.

Spent an aggravating hour of installing, uninstalling, reinstalling, rebooting, and trying everything suggested in numerous forums, one of which said to disable (or enable?) Activex from the "manage addons" in "internet options"...this did not work, however when i clicked "tools" on my action bar, and un-checked "Activex filtering", I was finally able to view videos on Youtube. I hope this simple solution works for everyone...
